Overview: Stephanie Meyer had never been to the Forks Washington or the Olympic Peninsula before she named it as the town Bella Swan would relocate to. Makers of the movie found the look and feel Meyer wrote about in several small Oregon towns and forests near Portland. The Twilight Movie Tour takes you to the world of Twilight.

Sample Twilight Movie Itinerary 

Portland - Saint Helens, Oregon

After pick up from the Portland International Airport (PDX) you will travel to Saint Helens, OR the town standing in for Port Angeles and see many of the Twilight locations. Stops include seeing Chief Swan's House, a walking tour of Olde Towne including the alley where Edward saves Bella, dinner at the haunted Klondike Hotel and a private movie party at the historic Columbia Theatre.

Saint Helens - Vernonina - Cannon Beach - Pacific City- Salem, Oregon

Begin the day with a bit of free time in Olde Towne Saint Helens. Talk to locals with stories about the cast and crew, find homemade, one-of a kind Twilight memorabilia. Try Twilight Mocha at the Lofted Lair. Then go to see the Cullen house in Portland, OR on the way to Vernonia home to Forks’ main street and Chief Swan’s Police Headquarters. Have lunch at one of Vernonia’s great restaurants before departing to the majestic Oregon Coast, standing in for La Push Beach. Here we’ve built in free time for a walk on the beach. After enjoying some breathtaking views as we drive south along 101, we’ll stop for pizza in Pacific City, a popular surfing destination. Finally, we’ll depart the Oregon coast and head into the valley to stay in the state’s capitol city.

Salem - Carver - Clackamas - Multnomah Falls - View Point Inn - Columbia River Gorge, Oregon

See locations and scenes created especially by Hollywood and added to enhance the movie. First is a coffee break at the Carver Café, where Bella and her dad Charlie often ate dinner. Then on to see the famous green houses that were added in the field trip scene of the movie. Later that afternoon we will head to the sweeping views of the Columbia River Gorge, visit Multnomah Falls and the View Point Inn where we’ll get a late lunch and private tour. Listen to the staff share stories about the filming and famous history of the Inn. This is the last stop before departure at Portland International Airport (PDX).
